Course Details
This course provides an in‑depth exploration of the provisions of the FIDIC Red Book for traditional projects (2017 Edition), covering both the General Conditions and the Particular Conditions, and demonstrating their application across the various scenarios you may encounter in the construction industry. The course includes practical examples for each Clause of the Contract, together with an explanation of Contract requirements, project delivery methods, payment mechanisms for Contractors, contractual terminology, and the correct procedures for dealing with Variations, Claims, Payments, delayed payment situations, as well as Disputes and Arbitration.
The course focuses on strengthening your understanding of your Rights and Obligations, and enhancing your ability to follow the correct Procedures within the proper Time Limits, in order to achieve the main objective of the program:
“How to preserve your contractual rights professionally in accordance with the Contract.”
Instructional Approach
The course combines lectures delivered in Arabic with the use of official FIDIC contractual terminology in English.
