Course Details
The Dubai Municipality Building Maintenance Certificate (DM Building Maintenance) is a specialized professional accreditation for the contractor engineer responsible for executing building maintenance works from structural, architectural, and façade perspectives in the Emirate of Dubai, United Arab Emirates (Contracting Technical Staff Accreditation – Building Maintenance).
This has created a need for companies and business owners to hire qualified professionals capable of leading and executing maintenance works for existing buildings—most importantly, professionals who are officially accredited by the relevant authorities in the country, enabling them to obtain the required permits and commence maintenance work.
The course covers the fundamental principles of building maintenance, preventive and corrective maintenance strategies, inspection procedures, maintenance planning, safety requirements, and quality control measures. Participants will gain a clear understanding of building systems, maintenance management techniques, defect identification, repair methodologies, and compliance with regulations and standards.
We are also proud to be the first platform to offer self-correcting mock exams (5 tests) that cover all exam topics. These are supported with highly practical examples drawn from real projects successfully completed in Dubai (project names cannot be disclosed due to confidentiality obligations).
Teaching Approach
The course combines lecture explanations in Arabic with the use of English technical terminology.
